All Natural Cures to Acne

It started in high school at around the age of 14. I never knew what they really were on my face or why they hurt so badly. I saw a majority of people in school with them but I had it worse than anyone. I asked my parents and discovered I had acne. Over the course of about a year, acne developed severely on my face, which led to lots of acne. I went from being one of the most popular kids in high school, to one of the biggest losers just because of my acne. People were definitely putting me down and making me feel minuscule.

Over the next five years, I had continuous visits to the dermatologist at least once a month. They recommended different over-the-counter creams and even prescription pills, but none of it seemed to work and only caused harsh rashes on my face and no money in my pocket. I was about to give up, until my brother told me about all natural homemade Acne treatments that can be made from various things around the house that he said are guaranteed to work. I was very hesitant to try them but I finally did and I can't thank him enough.

If you are having Acne problems that will not go away with over-the-counter prescription medicines or a trip to the dermatologist like me, you should try some of these all natural treatments that worked for me and decide which ones best for you.

Lemon Juice and Cinnamon

Lemon juice and cinnamon is another great way to cure acne naturally and is very simple to make. Mix together for every one part lemon juice equally one part cinnamon powder till it forms a paste. Apply paste to affected areas once or twice a day at the first sign of blemishes.

Nutmeg and Milk Mix

Grind fresh nutmeg with milk and apply to your effected area on your skin. You will see results within a week!

Lime Juice and Milk Wash

Cures acne like a charm. This is a simple mixture and does not cost very much at all. All you need to do is take a glass of purified boiled milk and let it sit once it comes to a boil; let it cool off to room temperature. Squeeze in one fresh lime. Apply to acne and pimples.

Treating acne with water

This includes recognizing your thirst, because if your thirst is not recognized your body becomes dehydrated and cells cannot be replenished. This can cause scarring on your face from acne.

You must also avoid the following:

1. Touching your face all the time

2. Keeping your hair away from your face

3. Picking your pimples! This was the hardest thing to avoid but it is possible with a little discipline.

4. This didn't apply to me, but I learned that for women the use of heavy make-up, if possible avoid all together. I know for most women out there this is nearly impossible J but trust me it works.

5. Sugar, coffee, soft drinks, ice cream, and processed foods

Please do not make the mistake of spending hundreds of dollars on over-the-counter medicine or going to see a dermatologist when even better cures to acne can be found right in your very own home for cheap. Also, with strong discipline you can see acne gone within a few days.
